순명문은 황해남도 해주시 영광동에 있는 해주읍성의 남문이다. 1391년(공양왕 3년) 해주읍성을 축성할 때 함께 세웠다. 순명문은 축대위에 2층의 문루로 이루어져 있는데, 일제강점기에 소실되어 현재는 문터만 남아있다. 순명문은 축대중앙에 홍예문을 두었으며, 높이는 약 4m, 너비는 약 9.5m의 규모이다. 순명문 앞에는 국보유적 68호인 부용당터가 남아있다.
