강원도 금강군 내강리 내금강 입구에서 만천을 따라 약 2km 가면 비홍교(만천다리) 건너편에 장안사터가 있다. 이 절은 금강산의 4대 사찰의 하나로 대웅보전을 비롯하여 고려 때에 70여 채의 건물이 있었지만, 한국전쟁 때 모두 소실되었다.
