황해북도 사리원시에 있는 정방산성 정문에 해당되는 남문의 문루이다. 정방산성은 고려 때에 처음 세워졌다. 남문은 산성의 정문으로 홍예문을 가진 높은 석축 위에 문루를 세웠다. 문루는 정면3칸(13.85m) 측면 3칸(7.2m)의 단층 팔작집이다. 한국전쟁시 폭격으로 파괴되었으나, 1968년 원상대로 복구되었다.
