Study on civil officers and literary class in the period of military rule(1170~1270) in Koryŏ(高麗) dynasty is very important. This is recognized as not only the research of military officers who lost political power but also identifying political features such as development and changes in this period. This book examines the movement of military officers in Ŭijong(毅宗) and their politics focusing on Yi Kyu-po(李奎報). In conclusion, this study is a significant challenge to understand political thought of this period through movement and politics from literary class.
